Night falls and an owl swoops and carries the bear off into the dark sky - then drops him in the pond, where he floats all night. Next morning, he's rescued by a man with a slide trombone, who takes him home and wraps him in a warm sweater. Later on, back in the park, the boy and the bear are happily reunited.
